The digital transformation of education requires Pancasila Education teachers to develop the competencies necessary to integrate technology into contextual, participatory, and experiential civic learning. This community engagement program aimed to strengthen the professional competencies of junior secondary school Pancasila Education teachers through a socio-cultural movement facilitated by CIVICITA, an e-platform for civic crowdfunding. The program was conducted from 7 to 10 July 2026 in Sumedang Regency in collaboration with the Sumedang Regency Education Office and the Junior Secondary School Pancasila Education Subject Teachers’ Association (MGMP), involving 61 registered teachers. A participatory approach was adopted through several stages, including program orientation, training, technology implementation, mentoring and evaluation, and follow-up activities to ensure program sustainability. The training comprised three instructional sessions and one practical session, totaling 32 instructional hours and covering deep learning, socio-cultural movements, the concept of civic crowdfunding, and hands-on use of the CIVICITA platform. The findings indicate that participants gained direct experience in operating CIVICITA and integrating the platform into Pancasila Education through the identification of social issues, project development, collaboration, support management, implementation of social initiatives, and reflective activities. The program also revealed varying levels of digital competence among teachers, with some participants requiring further assistance with registration, verification, feature navigation, and project management. Program sustainability was supported through the provision of user manuals, video tutorials, and continued implementation assistance. Overall, the program demonstrates that practice-oriented competency development can facilitate a shift in the use of technology from merely serving as a medium for information delivery toward functioning as a participatory learning environment that promotes social action and meaningful civic engagement in Pancasila Education.
