Copyright Ownership

Authors who publish in Buletin Dharmas Andalas (BDA) retain full copyright ownership of their work. By submitting a manuscript for publication, authors grant BDA the non-exclusive right to publish and distribute their work while maintaining their intellectual property rights.

This means that:

  • Authors own the copyright of their articles and can use their work freely without restrictions.
  • The journal does not claim ownership over any published content.
  • Authors are free to share, archive, and distribute their work across different platforms, including institutional repositories, personal websites, and preprint servers.

License and Usage Rights

All articles published in Buletin Dharmas Andalas (BDA) are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0).

Under this license:

  • Attribution (BY): Users must properly credit the original authors and source when sharing or adapting the content.
  • Non-Commercial (NC): Content may not be used for commercial purposes without permission from the authors.
  • ShareAlike (SA): If users create derivative works, they must license them under the same CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 terms.

Prohibited Uses

The CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license does not allow:

Changes to Copyright and Licensing Policy

Buletin Dharmas Andalas (BDA) reserves the right to update its copyright and licensing policies in accordance with best practices in scholarly publishing and open-access principles. However, any changes will not affect previously published articles, ensuring continued rights protection for authors.
