Pelatihan Guru Sejarah Se-Malang Raya Melalui Integrasi Artificial Intelligence dalam Merancang Bahan Ajar Berbasis Pendekatan Deep Learning

Abstract

This community engagement initiative aims to enhance teachers’ ability to develop deep learning-based teaching materials and their proficiency in artificial intelligence technology. This initiative is based on the results of a previous problem analysis, which indicated that teachers desire the integration of modern technology into the history learning process in the classroom. This study comprised three stages: focus group discussions; training for teachers from the Greater Malang History Teachers’ Working Group (MGMP) on innovative teaching materials, artificial intelligence and deep learning; and, finally, a post-activity program evaluation with the participants. The results of this activity were then subjected to a t-test to determine differences in skills and knowledge before and after the intervention. This study demonstrated an improvement in teachers’ competencies after participating in the training activities. This improvement was evidenced by the t-test results, which showed a difference of 14,80 between the pre-test and post-test scores. These findings indicate that the training activities, which also included interactive discussions, helped history teachers better understand innovative teaching materials, artificial intelligence, and deep learning.
