This community outreach program aimed to provide diabetes mellitus education, health screening, and opportunities for medical consultation to Mansiang weaving artisans in Nagari Kubang, Guguak District, Lima Puluh Kota Regency. Activities included an educational session, measurements of body weight, height, blood pressure, and uric acid levels, and discussions with a physician. Health records were available for 25 women aged 28–70 years. Among the 24 participants with complete anthropometric data, 16 (66.7%) had a normal body mass index, four (16.7%) were underweight, two (8.3%) were overweight, and two (8.3%) were obese. Complete systolic and diastolic blood pressure readings were available for 15 participants, including one reading of 149/90 mmHg requiring reassessment. Uric acid results were available for 21 participants and ranged from 3.7 to 8.2 mg/dL. The findings indicated a need for follow-up tailored to individual nutritional status and screening results. Periodic health screening and continued collaboration with local health services are recommended.
